The Travels of Norm, and a birthday wish!

Off he went looking for a wife.
singin "We are family"
Home of XYZ contracting Hmmmm Texas steak.
Believe it or not the MT steak tastes like liver.
hmmm we need one of these joints in Zootown!

Happy Birthday to you!

Happy birthday to you!

Happy birthday Charlie!

Happy Birthday to you!

Only in TX!

Happy Birthday Brother!!

"Billy Bob wrote Charline... John Deer green"

Rays and other things...

Rays Drive in
The best place to have puffy tacos!
who ever said Henrys is great...
well don't believe it,
Ray is his older brother who showed Henry how to make them.
Ok so it is on the wrong side of the tracks,
and it can get a little dangerous, wev'e all heard the stories.
But as mr chef wierdo guy on the noon news there says "Ohhh it's soo good"
Thanks to my inlaws I can appreciate this place now, but only when the sun is up.
And to think I'd never had a puffy taco before rays.
Forget los barrios Bobby Flay, & throw down with Ray! Ok I had to take this picture. More sentimental value here.
These signs are not found where we live now! nope, not a one!
I think they fell they dont need them. no there are'nt lots of squished pedestrians.
People stop for them where ever you are!! Very wierd! I almost rearended a guy just the other day on the freeway. he decided to come to a compleete stop for a guy to cross the road. Ummmm hello! We are from TX and well theyd've been a speed bump in like 2-3 seconds.
Not here we are learning to stop.
We used to have the TX license plates and yell "Were from TX we don't stop" but now we blend in with the new MT plates.
The next best thing I can think of is to get personalised plates that says run don't walk, or no brake for peds or somthing horrible like that.

Ok so here is the newes arrival in the fam. she got here in April.

No the mail box isn't her mother! She is darn spankin cute,

its the new niece, and yes she was perfectly safe, I promise!

The end of a long day.

Surfin with Crush!
(remember nemo... Duude.....surfinnnnn... Duuuude.) Check it out these are real ones.
Sweet lions another must have pic. at the zoo.
Ok so we had the enttertainment of seeing all the animals in cages...
so now it is our turn..
Megan your'e first!

Now for the rest of you... all together now all squished up in a little cage!

what is even more entertaining is trying to get a stroller outta that thing. Trust me I have pictures of when my oldest was a baby... It doesn't work too well!

I guess the rare monkys escaped again this time.

An exciting day at the zoo!

Here is a picture of the rare Mexican brown monkey, acting like a human while trying to pull branches down to hit unknowing passers by in the head. I think the monkey got both my mom and my dad. Sorry guys! Norm was so excited to find a long lost relative!
dont you see the resemblance?
He did the reserch, it is his mothers uncles brothers son!
How exciting! Finally he knows his roots.

This was one of the most exciting exhibits at the entire Zoo.

There's just something about the mystery of the unknown that is intriguing.

(and it wasn't anything but a dirt field!)

Monkeys got out in the new hippo exhibit,

they were much more photogenic than the hippo hinies, be greatful for that!

The good ole kimodo dragon, we gotta get a picture with it every time we go!

New hats!

These are Lorys they are beautiful birds

Allthough this one was a little tempermental! It didnt like my hubby much,
all though maybe that was because he was trying to pick them up and didnt give them food!
go figure, he is lucky he didn't loose a finger. Talk about an irate bird.

We really enjoyed these new 100% organic hats, they were also a form of entertainment for many. but watch out, dont feed em too much, they are on your head if you know what I mean.

Its all fun and games...

Till the dumb goat steals the food!
Fight em off!!Ok so everyone got a picture with the goats,...well except for Norm.
Sorry bud, maybe next time!

What a Big Bro. teaching her how to brush a goat.

What "City Kids" I have raised

Thanks for hiking the jungle with us Nana and Papa!

Norm and his Buddy!

Welcome to the jungle!

Ok its been a month... Lets catch up

Ok so I am foolish to think I could catchup in one night... But here is my feble attempt.
Norm Hob nobing with the cappybarra at the zoo
The largest rodent in the world (Thanks Munch for the info!)Wow look at that snake! those aren't ever seen here in MT! But in TX, who would look at em at the zoo when you find them out in the yard underneath your big oil derrik! hehe
Ok so Norm was even giving advise o his little frog buddy to not get too close to the wild cats, even though they are contained they may be harmful.
What a goofy little girl that is! I just love those eyes!
Norm and the family of nuts that carried him around all summer!!
officially named the "Year of the Gnome"
