A NICE day at the park!

We are so excited! It was 75degrees today!!! (and for more than 15-20 minutes, usually it is sunny then the wind blows and the temprature drops... then it somehow is snowing and hailing and raining again!) Go figure!!!W had a blast at the park last night we took fajitas.... a food not known to Montanans and had a great picknic IT WAS GREAT!!!!! Little hannah got up on the stage(ampatheatre) and sang "best of both worlds" and Ad sang some "Jonas brothers" songs It was lots of fun! We got to run and play tag, too bad the water part of the park isnt open yet, but fun fun fun!!!! Cant wait till spring and flowers!!!!! I saw a billboard the other day, it said "April snow brings May flowers" SO TRUE!!! Have a blessed day!!

Help my poor sock animal!

Ok I got all inspiredtoday I saw a 5 minute segment on Martha Stewart this morning about how to make sock animals.... So inspires me has a great sewing machine (thanks momo) and an extra pair of socks... so I I figures I would attempt this project. It looked sooo easy on the 5 minute segment!!!! Well I have to admit It makes me laugh out loud! Look at this picture!! Just look at it!! My thing is soo funktified!! Maybe I should take sewing lessons!! You think? Me sooo think!Just thought I would share a little laugh at me with you!! Hope you enjoyed!

Maggot Fest??!!

Ok once again I must say "Only in Montana" It seems to have been our motto for the last 10 months of our lives. There are things that just dont make sense to us rednecks from Texas. The latest of all these is Maggot Fest! What is this you ask. Well? I at this point am not too sure. What I do know is that there is a local rugby team who is proud to bear the name Maggots! You do not hear of them but just this one week of the year. apparently the Canadians called this one group of men that played rugby the "Maggots of Missoula" well apparently these guys took it as a complement because Years later they are still the Maggots! Good grief!! I put up their logo. Quite funny trying to make a rosetta out of maggots! What can I say!!!! Only in Missoula Montana!!!!

Wanna Fight?

Ok so I have been watching my baby boy grow up in the last week. He is getting taller and more handsome every day! I am soo proud of him, he did his science fair project, last week, It looked GREAT, better than many of the middle school projects at his school! Then he finished his book project, it too was very intense too. I was so proud of him to handle all that and his daily homework with a grain of salt. no big deal... easy just get er done. What a proud Mama I am.
then this week on Tuesday he came home and said he started a fight at school today at recess.
Ok with growing up I guess you get the good with the bad. So he explained that he was playing "extreme tag" with no base, and one kid made one of his friends cry, so he told the kid to apologise and the kid refused and ran away. My boy went right after him caught up with him and kicked him in the shin!! The kid kicked him told him the "F" word and ran away. DO you know my son? I do, and I have to say that I am proud of him. He was standing up for his friend and asking the kid to do the right thing. What a boy! Dad did have a chat with him about not letting your anger control your actions. And he did get a "mark" in class that day. I am proud to see that my baby boy is growing up. I am glad to see that he is taking a stand for what he believed was right, even if it was over a stupid game of tag, but actually it was more about being a friend, helping a friend and his feelings. Isn't that what life is about? why were we put here? To worship God and to build relationships with others, and share God and his grace with them.
We went to BR and had a few of the 31 flavors that night. My boy is growing up! I am a proud Mama!

A new lifestyle....

Wow what do you think of when yo uthink of high class living? a big house, a large yard, a pool, a nice car, a spur of the moment trip to the mall where the price tags aren't the way you decide which shirt you like better? Ok so I have to admit this is somewhat juvinile, but I begged for my husband to purchase me this gadget, lots of great reasons we needed it, And well it has changed my life... A new way to look at the world... A new brightness everyday...I am elated we got this thing I have to say I love it and it keeps my mouth super happy.... I love this new electric toothbrush it is superdeduper and I feel like a queen, talk about a lifestyle change... I'm a new person!!!!! Just dont leave the athaletes foot cream on the counter where the toothpaste should be!

Diet POP & Mintos

OK it was a chilly day as most are around here! The question is how much fun can you have with Pop & mintos?? well the boys sure did enjoy it lots.
Oh and isn't that a great pic of me? a little last second hello to the camera! I'm sure the boys behind me looked great too, but they weren't in the picture!! I was!!!! hehe
So here its time to divvy up the mintos.......

Thousands of eggs!

Wow that was probably the best easter egg hunt I have ever been to! There were eggs everywhere!!!! no hunting required, but wow every kid there left with basketfulls of candy and eggs.
hmmm I never realized this, but you can see the M on the mountain behind the clock tower. MMMMMMMMM

Ok someone freaked me out when he kept flipping like this, No hands, and a full back landing. what a BOY! And he did perfect the flip that day!

I waited years for this?

Ok i have to admit I have been trying to post this blog ALL day this is the 5th try atleast! Each time the computer would go crazy or someone would come and mess with it and mess up my post while pictures were uploading! So a much awaited blog up here. Yay me!!

I know it has been forever since I documented the goings on here. so here are some fabulous pictures from prom! My honey took me to prom this year! Soo exciting! Dont you just love the picture of us taken by our fabulous babysitter?! Hmm sounds odd. I have to say that I am soo glad I am not a teenager!! I don't miss it one bit. There is wayy too much drama!

Oh check out that blingiful corsage! What a man, since it was my first prom he went all out for me!

Ok it was great! Sailing away was the theme and there was a cruise ship made of cardboard, and it had lights in all the windows! Where we were sailing to ??? I donno, all the water around was frozen solid, it was like 25 degrees that night.

It was too cool I altered a dress that had been given to me about a year ago, all that day, and I had it ready just in the nick of time, and hour before we were supposed to be there! Good thing it only took us 10 minutes to get there, and that included a stop for a full tank of gas. I couldn't even get out of my subdivision at home in that ammount of time!

So I did say I didn't go to my HS prom, but I would like to say that I had never heard of "The march" Ok everyone was parading around in a circle showing off their dates. All the girls looked great, some were super made up and Their parents probably spent a small fortune, or sold a few cows to beable to pay for their dresses, make up , hair ,nails, and all that bling!

Unfortunately the Guys weren't as impressive! Wife beaters?? to prom???? Ok we are in Montana, Ok did this happen in TX too. Or am I just imagining it all as to have been more appropriate there? Just asking.... just a little odd for us. My date wore a suit and he looked good! hmmmm too bad some of those young ladies couldn't quite say the same!
Ok Tony made me take this picture it was just too funny that noone knew how to dance! He was making fun of these guys who were all moving the same... Boy dancing takes talent hu??
Ok it was all fun and we enjoyed our night as chaperones, I do have to say this was another first for me, this poor kid.... (next pic.) I am sure his mama was soo proud! Ok I know there were rules about this in TX and I know at Marshall there were lots of rules... They wouldnt have let this guy in, ok maybe him.... but not her......It is interesting what goes here.... Deffinately wouldnt have flown at home, when I was a teenager!
